Hypnotherapy Facts
Can Anybody Be Hypnotised?
Most people can, providing they want to be and are committed to working with the therapist in order to achieve this state.
What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?
It varies from a comfortable light relaxation to a profoundly deep trance almost on the verge of sleep. Each hypnosis treatment is experienced differently as it will be tailored to suit your exact requirement at that particular time.
Does The Therapist Control Me During Hypnotherapy?
No. The therapist is a facilitator only, bringing to the fore what is there deep within your subconscious mind. You are free to accept or reject any suggestions made. You control the experience, and it is the ownership of that experience that gives results.
Can Hypnosis Be Dangerous?
No. You retain the choice of free will at all times.
Is it Possible To Get Stuck in Hypnosis?
No. If you were to go extremely deep and felt so safe and comfortable that you simply didn’t want to come back you would just fall into a natural sleep and awaken from that point.
Can Hypnosis Be Used Whilst I’m On Medication?
Hypnotherapy can compliment traditional medicine wonderfully well. However, it is advisable to check with your GP beforehand.
How Quickly Can I Expect To See Results?
This varies from person to person. Many highly motivated and committed clients see positive results after only one or two treatments.
